Privacy Policy

1. Scope and controller

Angmon.io (“Angmon”, “we”, “us”) controls the processing described here. This policy applies when you use our game, website, support tools, community features, or official Discord server and bot.

Discord separately processes information under its own privacy policy. We only receive information Discord makes available to our bot through authorized APIs and the permissions enabled for our server.

2. Information we process

Game, account, and support data

• Account identifiers, player ID, display name, account settings and security records.
• Device, app version, diagnostics, gameplay and transaction records needed to operate the service, prevent fraud, and resolve support requests.
• Information you send to support, including contact details and message history.

Discord data

• Discord user, server, role, channel, message and event identifiers; username/display name and timestamps.
• Membership and role events used for welcome flows, language roles, moderation, security and server statistics.
• Message content is processed in real time to detect prohibited words, spam, unsafe links and language. Ordinary moderated message bodies are not retained by our unified event logger.
• Content you intentionally submit through tickets, suggestions, glitch reports, and staff replies may be stored so the case can be handled and audited.
• Moderation results and bounded event metadata, such as rule type, actor/target identifiers, timestamps and action outcome. Security logs do not store bot tokens or secrets.

3. Why we use information

• Provide accounts, gameplay, community, tickets and customer support.
• Moderate harmful content, prevent spam and malicious links, apply timeouts, and protect the server from abuse.
• Assign requested or automatically detected language roles and verified creator roles.
• Investigate incidents, enforce our rules, prevent fraud, and keep auditable administrative records.
• Maintain reliability, measure service health, and improve features using aggregated or de-identified information.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Discord message content to train machine-learning or generative-AI models.

4. Discord privileged intents

The official bot uses Server Members Intent for membership, roles, welcome flows and member-based moderation, and Message Content Intent for real-time safety filtering, spam/link protection, language classification and support interactions. The bot does not request Presence Intent.

Server-wide safety moderation cannot be individually disabled while continuing to participate in the moderated server. You can leave the server to stop future server processing. Where available, automatic language selection can be replaced with a manual language choice.

5. Sharing and processors

We disclose information only when needed to operate the service: to infrastructure, database, backup, security and support providers acting for us; to Discord for Discord interactions; or when required by law, to protect users, or to enforce our rights. Access is limited by role and operational need. We do not rent or sell your personal information.

6. Retention

• High-volume Discord message and voice event metadata: normally up to 30 days.
• Invite and application event metadata: normally up to 90 days.
• Membership and emoji event metadata: normally up to 180 days.
• Role, channel, server, webhook and AutoMod security records: normally up to 365 days.
• Support and Discord ticket cases: normally archived for 180 days; a different documented period may apply where needed for disputes, security, legal obligations or an approved retention request.

We may keep aggregated, de-identified, security, fraud-prevention or legal records for longer where necessary. Deletion from active systems and encrypted backups can occur on different schedules.

7. Security

We use access controls, least-privilege bot permissions, authenticated administrative actions, encrypted transport, secret isolation, audit trails, rate limits, integrity checks, encrypted operational queues and encrypted off-host backups. No system is perfectly secure; report suspected misuse immediately to support@angmon.io.

8. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of information associated with you, subject to identity verification and legal/security exceptions. Game account deletion is available from the game settings where supported. For Discord or support data, email support@angmon.io with your Discord user ID or player ID and the request.

Leaving the Discord server stops future server events from being processed, but existing moderation, security and support records may remain until their retention period ends.

9. Age requirements

Do not use our Discord community if you are below Discord’s minimum required age (generally 13, or the higher minimum age required in your country). Parents or guardians may contact us about a minor’s information.

10. Changes and contact
